Fairview Medical Centre was purpose built and opened in September 1997.

Our practice caters for all generations and all cultures. The surgery has wheelchair access and car parking facilities are available.

A high standard of quality patient care is delivered by every member of the practice team.

  • Winter Holiday Opening Times


    This Christmas and New Years period we will closed on Christmas day (25th), boxing day (26th) and New year's day. We will also not running the evening surgery on Christmas eve (24th) or new year's eve (30th) so we will close at 6:30pm.

  • Parents with Teenagers Support Group


    Our Patient Participation Group - Parents with Teenagers Support Group next meeting is on Monday 11th February. Starts at 6:30pm til 8pm at St Stephen's Church,  9 Warwick Road, Thornton Heath, CR7 7NH. Come along, have a cuppa and a chat, together we can help each other to understand our teenagers.

  • Free PPG Organised Talks


    We are holding two free talks at the surgery that are organised by our Patient Participation Group.          Nutrition with Lisa October 11th 12:30 - 13:45       Self Care with Caroline November 1st 12:30 - 13:45         Please ask at the reception if you would like to know more.

  • Online repeat prescriptions, appointments and medical information


    You can now access some appointments using the online booking. This also lets you request repeat prescriptions and will shortly also allow you to see details of immunisations and allergies that are recorded on our clinical system. If you have not used this service before then please contact reception who will give you a password and details of how to log on.

  • Patient Participation Group


    There is a patient participation group on the 20th September at 6.30 - all patients are more than welcome to attend.

  • Community Events


    We have created a new page on our website called Community Events where we will upload information to local and relevant events in Norbury. It is located in the "Policies  & Information" menu. The first event is a monthly networking event run by the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime.

  • Patient Participation Group Meetings 2018


    We are holding PPG meetings on: Thursday 7th June, Thursday 6th September and Thursday 6th December. These meeting are held at 12:30pm and are to give patients an opportunity to share their opinions and experiences to help improve our practice.     We also run a Teenage Group for the parents of teenagers on the first monday of every month.

  • Wednesday Afternoons


    We are now open on Wednesday afternoons until 6:30pm.

  • Cyber Security


    Fairview was not effected by the recent cyber security incident although we did have to close down our computers on the Friday afternoon. We are sorry if this caused you any inconvenience. 

  • CQC Inspection


    The CQC are re-inspecting the surgery. The previous rating was good for all categories. 

  • Dr Graham nominated for GP of the Year


    Dr Graham has been nominated for GP of the year at the forthcoming GP awards. Thank you to all the patients who have made this possible.

Call to carers

We would like to start  a patient support group for carers as we recognise your immense challenges and also your immense contribution. If you are a carer and registered with us then please contact Avani Jagdev in reception so she can start the ball rolling. There are certain grants and also certain medical items such as free flu jabs for carers.
