Research
Fairview Medical Centre are proud to be involved in Clinical Research which will hopefully be a benefit to all. We work collaboratively with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) clinical Research Network which is the Research arm of the NHS.
Clinical Research is very important to improve care, treatments, and ultimately patients' quality of life.
We actively support several different types of Primary care studies which have been ethically approved.
If you are a patient at the Practice you may receive invitation letters to ask if you wish to take part in a research study. Joining in a research study is completely voluntary. You have the right to say no.
